Pique
Resident DJAbout Me
Former Pacha and Ministry of Sound Egypt resident Piqué has been rocking dancefloors for decades. 2017 saw his first Beatport top 10 and Traxsource No.1 with a remix of Inner City’s seminal classic “Big Fun”, which was hammered by the techno elite, including Carl Cox and Pan-Pot, with Radio 1 support from B.Traits. A master of club classics, Piqué’s Peach residency has seen him grace the main stage of Koko at their sell-out reunion parties and at the huge Moondance festival. Over the years Piqué’s talent for mixing classics, forgotten anthems and personal remixes has gained him a stellar reputation, with stand-out performances at Raindance, Moondance, Epidemik, Slip Back in Time, Tasty and Old Skool Euphoria.
His reworks of classic anthems, including The Goodmen’s “Give it up” and The Ethics’ “La Luna (to the beat of the drum)” led to a remix commission of “On A Ragga Tip” from Slipmatt himself. Legends of the industry have recognised Piqué’s ability to produce dancefloor weapons, and Piqué has signed music to labels run by Stonebridge, Marshall Jefferson, Kevin Saunderson, Slipmatt, Billy ‘Daniel’ Bunter, The Hoxton Whores and Sonny Wharton.
